Dear Parents,

 

On behalf of the Temple Israel Religious School Parents Association (PA), it is my pleasure to welcome all new and returning families to the 2011-2012 school year.

 

The PA is committed to supporting and enriching our children’s religious education and fostering a sense of community within the School and the Temple. Through fundraising initiatives like the Passover Candy Sale, we have been able to provide scholarship assistance; supply Religious School snacks; fund classroom enhancements; and sponsor Purim celebrations, Tu B’Shevat Seders, Religious School dinners, and Shabbat Kiddushim.

 

Thanks also to the participation of dedicated parent volunteers, we have implemented and staffed successful Tzedakah projects, organized class cocktail parties, and participated in various Temple-wide activities and events such as the Purim Carnival and Mitzvah Day.

 

The PA is gearing up for another busy and exciting year, and we invite each of you to join us in working with Rabbi Buyer to promote the School’s educational objectives and to bring our families together to celebrate, worship, and learn.

Your participation and support are critical to our success. There are myriad ways to get involved, and no time commitment is too small.
