[Membership]

Most of the activities of our congregation are open to the public. All interested individuals are encouraged to attend and participate in weekly Sabbath services, Festival celebrations, educational and cultural programs. To receive our newsletter, please call the Temple office and ask to be placed on our mailing list.

Enrollment in our Early Childhood Learning Center, our Religious School, Playgroup and Sanctuary seating for the High Holy Days, because of limited space, are reserved for members in good standing of the congregation. In order to make membership accessible for everyone who wishes to become a part of our community, Temple Israel offers a variety of membership categories.

Basic Family Membership-- this membership category entitles families to attend High Holy Day Services in the Ballroom, conducted by young adult members of our congregation.

Contributing Memberships include two High Holy Day tickets in the unreserved section of our Sanctuary balcony (extra tickets for children and out-of-town relatives and guests are always available upon request).

Supporting Memberships include two High Holy Day tickets in the designated section of the main floor and lower balcony of our Sanctuary (additional reserved seating for children under thirty is available at a junior membership rate. Seating for out-of-town relatives and guests is available upon request).

Annual Dues Categories:**

Basic Family Membership:$2095
Contributing Membership:$2095
Supporting Memberships:For contributions beginning at $2665, reserved seating can be arranged for the High Holy Days. Please contact the office to discuss your needs.
Building Fee:$2000 (one time pledge)

Membership dues cover only a fraction of our annual operating costs. Temple Israel prides itself on providing an outstanding religious community for its membership. This building fee is used to support the activities and programs of Temple Israel that are crucial to our mission, but are not self-sustaining financially. Every family is asked to make this pledge when they become a part of Temple Israel. Installment payments, if needed, can be arranged with the administrative offices.

Nursery, religious school and Playgroup tuitions are additional.

** Single memberships, junior and student memberships, handicap-accessible reserved seating, and special dues considerations will always be made to accommodate those who wish to become a part of the Temple Israel community. Please do not hesitate to call the Temple office.
