Are You Wearing That? Mothers and Daughters in Conversation
The relationship between mother and daughter is literally "THE MOTHER OF ALL RELATIONSHIPS"
Tuesdays at 7:30 - 8:30pm, January 15 - February 5
It is among the most passionate of womens' lives, the source of the deepest love and also the deepest anger, even hate that most women experience. The source of great comfort and great pain. We talk to each other in better and worse ways than anyone else. Our deepest wish is to be understood and approved by our mothers and our daughters. We can get closer to that goal by listening to the ways we talk to each other and by learning to talk to each other in new ways.
Come join Patti Sayre LCSW, School Psychologist and Playgroup Facilitator for a 4 week discussion group based on the book "YOU'RE WEARING THAT?" by Deborah Tannen. It will be an opportunity to learn more about yourself, your mother and discover new ways of connecting.
Adult mothers, daughters and mother-daughter combinations are encouraged to attend.

In addition to becoming a knowledgeable adult Jew and a skilled Torah reader, you are likely to develop warm friendships with the other members of the program, in the process of exploring your own Jewish life.
